STAN Offord from Winterton, a qualified dinghy instructor, has been awarded a place on the Jubilee Sailing Trust ship SV Tenacious. The voyage sets off from Great Yarmouth on Saturday, (September 17), and arrives at Portland, Dorset, 10 days later. There is a fundraising target of £500+ in order to fund places for others. The money raised will be used to enable the charity to continue to deliver its mission to give people of mixed abilities and circumstances the freedom to explore their ability, potential and place in the world through inclusive adventures at sea.
